Texas Roadhouse Armadillo Classic
Moves to September

14th Annual Classic Promises Legendary Day On the Links

For the first time in its now 14-year history, one of the Louisville golf scene's most legendary days will move from its traditional October date. The 2013 Texas Roadhouse Armadillo Classic for Special Olympics Kentucky is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Quail Chase Golf Course and promises to be another fun-filled day on the links.

Once again there will be two flights, with one going off in the morning at 8 am and another teeing it up at 2 pm. Registration opens one hour before each flight. Between the two flights, there will be a Texas Roadhouse lunch for both groups as well as a Special Olympics presentation at 1 pm.

As always, the day will include amazing door prizes and raffle items. There will also be chances to meet and interact with Special Olympics athletes who will be helping the golfers out on the course.

The Texas Roadhouse Armadillo Classic for Special Olympics is always one of the most fun and most entertaining events on the local golf calendar, but it sells out annually, so don't miss your chance to be a part of the excitement. You can register on-line for the 2013 Texas Roadhouse Armadillo Classic, or request more information via e-mail at
armadilloclassicinfo@texasroadhouse.com or by calling Rosie at 502-515-7247.

Last year, 66 foursomes (265 golfers) participated in the first ever double-flighed Texas Roadhouse Armadillo Classic, raising more than $134,000 for Special Olympics. JP Morgan Chase won the morning flight, and RZ Marketing Group won the afternoon flight. In its first 13 years, the Armadillo Classic has raised more than $1.3 million for Special Olympics Kentucky.

Our most sincere thanks to the wonderful people at Texas Roadhouse who continue to do such amazing work in support of our athletes. In addition to the Armadillo Classic, Texas Roadhouse supports events like the Plane Pull and Polar Plunge, and Texas Roadhouse team members ("Roadies") volunteer at a number of Special Olympics competitions. We are thrilled to have them as one of our Year-Round partners.
