It's a common sight in the sports world -- two hands go above an athlete's head and smack enthusiastically into two more hands of a teammate or coach. They give each other "ten" as a sign of excitement or as congratulations on a job well done.
You see it all the time at Special Olympics competitions as well. At the end of the track, on the way to the dugout or on their way off the court, our athletes are constantly greeted by volunteers, coaches and teammates just waiting to give them ten.
Now SOKY has a new way for you to join in. You can give Special Olympics Kentucky athletes "Ten" from your desk, your car or your couch just by picking up your mobile phone.
